Cheray O'Neal (Actor/Writer/Producer)

makes her directorial debut with  Diversity in Cannes Short film Showcase selected film'Breathe'.  

An award-winning writer/actor/producer starring in the film ‘Weep not’; Winner of the ‘Audience Choice Award’ at Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase, alongside legendary thespian Beverly Todd made the journey worthwhile. A Two Time NAACP Theater Nominee for Acting and writing of her solo play ‘Journey This’ ,  Cheray O'Neal's  voice speaks hope beyond trauma, and the resilient beauty of the human spirit.

Co-lead in Kathleen Quinlan's dark comedy short film ‘The Fixer Upper’,  co-star in Oscar winner Matthew Cherry's web-series 'Almost 30', Mark Pellington's directed doc 'Honesty', shot principle roles in numerous National commercials (FORD, HYUNDAI, AT&T, WALMART) , and in Spring, Cheray will be filming the title role in the TV show 'Ring or Nah'.

She is a proud member of The LAByrinth Theater Company, and equally proud to include activist as a foundational tool. Having traveled nationally and abroad facilitating Born; a poetic theatre fundraising workshop, 'From the inside out'; a writing collective for young girls, 'Heart story', an immersive creative writing college workshop, and Senior2Senior, Cheray's mission to inspire and heal speaks loud.
